The RA Interview is the first opportunity for professional staff members to evaluate and identify candidates for placement in regard to their understanding of the position, motivation, communication, leadership, and diversity. The candidate will be evaluated by one professional staff member and two current Resident Assistants and the interview will be approximately 20 minutes. It is important to review the RA job description and have a strong understanding of the process and the position before interviewing.
Mixer The RA Mixer is the second opportunity for professional and student staff members to meet with candidates and discuss the RA position. While there is no official evaluation portion of the mixer, it allows our current staff to view candidates in regards to communication & group dynamics. The mixer will also allow candidates to meet with the residence hall staff in the quad they may be placed in.
